Dr. Harpreet Malla is a licensed clinical psychologist who is currently in private practice in LA & Orange County in Southern California. She identifies as a 1.5 generation Indian-American feminist and enjoys navigating the cultural nuances those experiences have brought her. Dr. Malla has a passion for working with identity development as it pertains to LGBTQ and bicultural or immigrant populations, and recently has developed a specialization in couples navigating arranged or other nontraditional marital practices, such as poly constellations, those who practice kink, or are in interracial relationships. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Malla is pioneering research on the evolution of arranged marriages in the South Asian diaspora and has authored a chapter on this topic. She has also taught at the university and graduate level, and hosted a variety of mental health workshops for corporate, university, and community events. She is also the Diversity Chair for the Los Angeles County Psychological Association, where she advocates for marginalized groups and seeks to promote understanding through education
